Recently some media pictures of SNSD for Maple Story have been released with some subpar results. They come off (hopefully like SooYoung's clothes if we ever meet) like Sailor Moon rejects at a cosplay convention. In some of the pictures they look cute, but for the most part the pictures were less than stellar. French police say camouflaged paparazzi who managed to get onto the grounds of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's chateau in southern France on Thursday fought with the Hollywood couple's guards. |  Heather Locklear’s ex-husband Richie Sambora (who struggled with alcoholism) called her daily during her recent four-week stint in rehab for depression and anxiety, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. (The paper claims she also may have been treated for prescription drug issues.) It is among the revelations a source at the clinic tells the paper. The source says that Locklear, 46, told the other patients at the Arizona facility that she felt the world was closing in on her before she sought help. The source adds that Locklear felt people expected her “to be perfect, always beautiful.” During her stay, the source says Locklear “couldn’t have been warmer or more approachable. There was no diva behavior. She was totally genuine, down-to-earth and warm.” She often enjoyed riding horses. She even told patients that she wanted to make a Western film “so I can better work on my riding skills,” the insider says. At one point during rehab, Locklear was overheard singing and said she’d love to record an album, the source says. She also kept a daily journal and told other patients that she’s working on a couple of books, including a memoir and “a coffee table-style book about design,” the source says. In addition to the daily calls from Sambora, her current beau, actor Jack Wagner — whom the source says she could wed “soon” — visited her several times. But it was her daughter Ava, 10, who “helped Heather get through the program. She knew that little girl was back home waiting for her, and she talked about her constantly.” The source adds that Locklear has also watched Denise Richards’ reality show. “Heather thinks the show is a riot,” the source says, “but only because it makes Denise look like an idiot.”

| James McAvoy will reportedly pick up £12million to star in two sequels to this summer’s blockbuster film Wanted. Hollywood bosses have given the go-ahead to the action thrillers in which Scottish McAvoy, 29, plays office nerd-turned-assassin Wesley Gibson. A studio insider said: “It’ll be the biggest payday of his career. There’s no way they could do the sequels without him.” Angelina Jolie will also feature in the sequels, reprising her role as hit-woman Fox.

The foundation’s Form 900 tax filing has just arrived, and it shows that Spears came up short $195,445 for the year 2006. Total revenue was $148,614. But total expenses came to $344,063. Among the expenses were two salaries that each came to a little less than $40,000. One employee is Corina O. Biggar, who’s run Britney’s foundation from her home in Massachusetts. The other is listed as John McMahon, a former New York City cop. In 2002, according to the Wall Street Journal, McMahon was involved in scandal concerning the Spears fund and the Boston-based Giving Back Fund, the umbrella group managing her donor-advised charity. According to the Journal, the Giving Back Fund "alleged that the agent for Ms. Spears threatened to move the pop star's charity giving to another firm if the fund manager refused to hire her friend John McMahon, a former New York City police officer. The dispute was concluded with a settlement." Another $50,000 was listed as a contribution for Britney’s summer camp for kids — although no one seems to know what’s happened to the camp, where it is, or what kids attend it — if any. Then there’s a big chunk — $214,930 — that’s annotated as miscellaneous grants. Unfortunately, none of those grants is specified. In 2005, the Spears Foundation gave away nearly $600,000 to a variety of arts and AIDS groups and New Orleans relief efforts as well as $30,000 to the Kabbalah Center in Los Angeles. The 2006 tax return is signed by an accountant in Tennessee. Britney’s older brother Bryan, age 30, signed the return in his role as president on Dec. 1, 2007. Aronofsky, the director of The Fountain, and Self, the writer of Road to Perdition, make a formidable creative team, fast tracking the RoboCop motion picture and spotlighting it as one of the most anticipated new films for 2010. | Samantha Morton to direct Channel 4 kids' home drama Oscar-nominated actor Samantha Morton is to make her directorial debut with a drama for Channel 4 about a little girl growing up in a children's home. The actor, who spent time in care herself as a child, told MediaGuardian.co.uk that she originally began to write the script herself, but after it got "really complicated" she was put in touch with Tony Grisoni, whose credits include In This World and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Morton, who won a Golden Globe for her performance in Channel 4's Myra Hindley drama Longford, worked with writer Grisoni to create the script about a nine-year-old girl and her experiences in the British care system. "We sat in a room together for eight weeks and wrote this film," she said. "People often make things about what they know about. This film was originally about something else - the 1989 Children's Act, but it became too complicated. "It was something I knew about because I was in care at that time. But the film then became about something totally different." She added: "A lot of people write about what they know. That is how I have to develop my career as a director." ( Moar )
